A great Philly-area program, Startup Corps, empowers high school students to be active, engaged participants in their education by leveraging their passions and teaching them the skills necessary to start something real.
Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event focusing on building a web or mobile app which could form the basis of a credible business. The weekend brings together different skillsets to build apps and develop a commercial case for them.
